As a small and growing charity we don’t currently have the resources to plan organised walks but we hope to in the future. If you have experience in organising large sponsored walks we would love to hear from you! The only event where we purchase charity places currently is the Great North Run. If you want to take part in a different running event in aid of Facial Palsy UK you can buy your own place direct from the race organiser and set up a fundraising page. We really value any support you can give us because without individual fundraisers we couldn’t do the work that we do. We are happy to send you a running vest and support you with your fundraising.

Registration fee: £30
Age limit:17 or over
Firmly established as the world’s greatest half marathon, this Newcastle based event takes in the iconic Tyne Bridge, passes by the famous Gateshead International Stadium, and finishes on the coast in South Shields. Live music, on-course refreshments and thousands of cheering supporters keep runners motivated every step of the way, it’s an experience not to be missed.
We ask for a registration fee of £30 and a pledge to raise a minimum of £300. We will be there on the day to cheer you on and greet you in the Family Meeting area which is just beyond the finish line. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please register via this link or contact us if you require further information. Please note that being a small charity we don’t have the funds to pay for a marquee in the charity village but we will be waiting with refreshments to meet you at the end.
