21st March 2020 This meeting has been cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will monitor the situation and reschedule a meeting as soon as possible.
Who for? The main support groups cater for people over the age of 18, or 16 and over if accompanied by an appropriate adult. Please contact us if you are planning on attending so we can ensure you are added to our register and kept updated of any changes. Thank you.
Time: 10am to 12pm (Focus group follows from 12-1pm)
Speaker: Mr. William Townley , Consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon in London and Head of department at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals.
An opportunity to take part in discussing issues associated with facial palsy and the treatments offered during facial therapy appointments.
The facial physiotherapists at Guy’s hospital will be attending the next support group and would like to get feedback from people with facial palsy about the sorts of issues they contend with and the treatments that are therefore most important to access when attending facial therapy services.
To gain this feedback, the physiotherapists will hold a focus group straight after the next support group in the John Harvard Library on 21st March 2020. It will last approximately one hour. If you can stay for the focus group after the meeting, your participation in the focus group would be very much appreciated.
