The aim of Facial Palsy UK's family days are to provide a relaxing and fun day for children affected by facial palsy, their siblings and parents. They are an opportunity for children to meet others with facial palsy and for parents to exchange experiences and benefit from mutual support in an informal environment.

Plans for this Family Day are:

  • Meet at Wilderness Wood, Hadlow Down, East Sussex, TN22 4HJ, at 10:30am in the cafe.
  • Forest school workshop 11am - 12:30pm.
  • Lunch 12:30pm - 2pm.
  • Spend the afternoon at Pembroke Manor, Stonebridge Lane, Blackboys, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 5HY, where there will be a Pets & Ponies session, Storytime, Arts & Crafts, and finishing with a children's Reiki Massage session.
  • Day will end at approximately 4:30pm.

There is space for six tents if families wish to stay overnight at Pembroke Manor with access to water, fridge, toilets and BBQ area. Food available at the nearby Blackboys Inn (walking distance) or you can order pizza or Indian takeaway.
