Share Your Story

Why Share Your Story?

Sharing your story can really help other people experiencing facial palsy and helps us to raise awareness of the condition and its many different causes.

Some people with facial palsy can feel deeply isolated because of their inability to smile, to join in the laughter, to show their feelings. Sharing your story on our website or in the media will be a huge support for others living with facial palsy. They will realise that they are not alone and that many other people experience and can understand what they are going through.

Even if you have now recovered, we are still keen to share your story because it gives hope to others recently diagnosed.

You can choose to share your story on our website or become a Media Volunteer and share your story through other formats such as magazines, newspapers, podcasts, TV and radio (when the opportunity arises). We recommend you read our Media Volunteer Information before deciding whether you’d like to share your story with the media.

How to get started

Please complete our Case Study Request form, where you can submit your story along with any photos or video you’d like to include. We will read your story and suggest any edits if required and then return to you for approval before placing it on our website.
