Aviva Competition – Help us win funding for a Children’s Book

From 1-30 May we need your help to vote for our Project. We have been entered into a competition to try and win £5,000 which will be used to create two children’s books. Please help by sharing the link to our competition on Aviva’s website, or our YouTube video, with as many friends, family and work colleagues as possible.

The first story book will feature a positive character with facial palsy aimed at supporting children and their siblings, which can also be shared in schools to educate teachers. The book will promote discussion and sharing of feelings.

The second book will be about the child of an adult with facial palsy, supporting them through changes to a parent’s face and encouraging discussion. Children of parents with a sudden facial palsy may silently harbour worries which they don’t always share.
