The challenges of this year have affected us all in so many different ways. We are entering a very different festive season in these uncertain times.
We want to say thank you for all your support this year. With your help we started regular virtual support sessions in October which will continue running into 2021. We received excellent feedback about these sessions which you made possible.
On Sunday we held a Zoom Children’s Christmas Quiz hosted by our very own Danny Elf! It was wonderful to see how excited the children were and a welcome reminder of the joy of singing Christmas songs and wearing silly hats.
Also we wanted to say how much we appreciate the people who gave help with ad hoc tasks throughout the year. Every gesture has made a difference. To those who attended support groups and shared experiences, you made a difference.
We have probably only been a small part of your journey in this difficult year, but we will be working harder than ever to improve facial palsy awareness, support and research in 2021.
We wish you all a safe and peaceful festive break and a brighter 2021.
