A time for prayer, a time for silence,
A time for calm, a calming mind,
Is what I need to find.
As the dark clutter, flutters and flies,
Like shards of glass in my night skies
In my brain and being,
There is pain and not seeing.
My eyes lids stitched up,
My eyes stares openly.
My voice is silenced, whilst my mind screams out.
My smile is gone, no doubt it will return!
A time for calm, and no alarm.
A time for peace, a time for sleep
This time, like all time, will pass.
A time for love is always.
