How long I had waited
You were never there
Lost and alone
Did no one care?
No sense of it all
Anguish & pain
Is it just me?
Who do I blame?
Screaming inside
I must cover from view
So very self conscious
Not sure what to do
But then a door opened
Support at last
I’m not alone
