Facial Palsy Awareness Week 1-7 March 2016

February 29, 2016

It’s not too late to plan something for Facial Palsy Awareness Week (1-7 March).
All over the UK, supporters are giving up their time to raise awareness and funds.
We have cake stalls, tea parties, information stands, school and college involvement.

We also have hundreds of individuals joining us for:
#FaceMyDay – our half makeup/half beard challenge and
#StraightFace our new campaign highlighting what so many take for granted, the ability to laugh unreservedly and the ability to express ourselves using our faces. #StraightFace is about humour without facial expression.

Our special #uniquesmiles Facial Palsy Awareness Week T-shirts are available in adult and children’s styles.

Why not tell your local newspaper or radio station about your event and why you were inspired to join us…or write your own press release and send it with a photo of your event.

If you are on social media please also support our Thunderclap, all you need to do is click this link and then click to support with Facebook, Twitter or Tumbler. To find out more about what Thunderclap is please click here.

At head office we have some national press releases and media possibilities and we will be keeping you up to date with events throughout the week on Facebook(facialpalsyuk) and Twitter (@facialpalsyuk) so be sure to follow us.
